____

Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, the Clean Air Council, and Friends of Cobbs Creek North for a waterway cleanup in Cobbs Creek Park!

Cobbs Creek Park is an 800-acre greenway of forested valleys, wetlands, and trails. It also home to Philadelphia's newest bikepath- a paved, creek-side trail that extends from S 70th St to Woodland Ave. Be one of the first to walk the new extension, and help clear Cobb's forests & streambanks of litter.

Projects are led by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation staff, with support from the Fairmount Park Conservancy. All tools and materials are provided- including gloves & snacks!

Plan to wear sturdy, closed toed shoes, and clothes you won't mind getting dirty. Make sure to pack yourself plenty of water!

Because this is an outdoor event, we may need to cancel in the event of heavy rain or snow. Please check your inbox the week-of for confirmations.
