Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Fairmount Park Conservancy for a special edition of Second Satuday Service.
May 11th is Philly's city-wide LOVE Your Park service day, where volunteers show up in the thousands to help clean, green, and love their neighborhood parks.
We'll be working at Marconi Plaza, together with local neighbors, program sponsors, and our very own, Mayor Jim Kenney. Marconi is a beautiful hub of community and culture in South Philly, featuring seasonal concerts, outdoor movie nights, bocce leagues, and much more. Help us improve this valued space, with a cleanup and tree planting. Then, stick around for the Love Your Park press event at 12:30 pm, where VIPs will speak and celebrate Philly's parks.

Second Saturday projects are led by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Fairmount Park Conservancy staff. All tools and materials are provided- including work gloves, snacks, and coffee!
Plan to wear sturdy, closed toe shoes, and clothes you won't mind getting dirty.
